Every two years the street theatre tete-a-tete takes place at several locations like the Marketplace, castle's garden, Paradeplatz and many more.

The next will be from 01. bis 06. Juni 2010

Many artists and bands of different countries will perform in several showes. Only in the evening (after 21:00h) you have to pay an entrance fee

The Landscape Garden

The once baroque park has later been turned into a landscape garden. Lots of trees have been planted, many of exotic or unusial varieties. They have grown into beautiful, huge, old trees.

We visited in October when the foliage had turned colour. This enormous tree close to the palace was the most beautiful of them all, glowing in bright orange.

The fish pond is not visible from the park. You have to climb some stairs up to the top of the surrounding dam to see it. Then a new department of the park opens up.

Did I mention that they have beautiful trees in their park?

This one would make the most perfect Christmas tree.

Coloured autumn leaves form a frame around the palace from many viewpoints.

Hop on the roof! I could not resist playing King Kong again.
