We stayed a few nights in the hotel & restaurant Forellenhof Rössle which is known for its trouts. You get there trouts in all variations, and their 4-courses-evening-menu that you could book for 17€ always had one trout dish and one other dish for your choice. Bad luck that I don't eat trouts!
We had a comfort room with balcony, everything clean and comfortable, but the best was the view on Lichtenstein castle. We could not stop taking photos! They also have a nice spa area at the top floor with different kinds of sauna and where you can get massages (except during the summer break). The hotel is located at the main road which was pretty busy during rush hour, but at night it was okay, you just sometimes heard some trucks or motorbikes driving up to the Swabian Alb. Also our room was at the other side where they have a nice beer garden, so we rather heard the people there and the Echaz rivulet.
The hotel has rooms of different categories and two holiday appartments. When you go there take a look at there package deals, we could save some money with their last minute offer.
