I was working in Stuttgart for 5 weeks and had to stay at this hotel for 5 nights in February. Though claiming to be a 4 star I would say its more like a good 2 star. Value for money was poor at 180 Euros/night but to be fair this rate was due to there being a trade convention in town and all other hotels had equally doubled their rates too. The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area so there are no other restaurants or bars close by - the main commercial area is a good 20 mins walk. The hotel staff were friendly enough and all spoke good English, the rooms were comfortable for a short stay, breakfast consisted of the usual continental style as well as eggs & sausages. I would have liked a mini bar and coffee making facilities. Overall a comfortable stay but be prepared to walk (hotel is up a hill) alot if you don't have a car.
