Comfortable hotel in Stuttgart

I stayed in this cute little place for a week. The outside of the hotel looks relatively modern and shares its footprint with a few other businesses. In the front, is a woman's clothing store and upstairs, a nice Chinese restaurant which I will mention shortly.

This room which my girlfriend had arranged for us was like a loft apartment with a small living area downstairs. It has a very small but functional kitchen with a stove top, a small refrigerator (a little larger than the ones you typically get in hotels in Germany) and a sink and cabinets. The living room area included a sofa, TV, a nice roomy workdesk area and a balcony. Upstairs, up the spiral staircase, is a double bed, with a skylight just overhead and a bathroom with not much in the way of a tub, but otherwise nice and useful. It did have a shower and of course toilet and sink. I think you might find that many of these rooms have a slightly different layout. It was a cute little place to stay for the week and I'd surely recommend it to anyone. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast is served downstairs in a rennovated guestroom. There is a car park area for guests in the garage underneath the hotel also, but you cannot be completely sure your car is safe there. I had the antenna stolen from my rental car, and had to spend about an hour the next day searching for a replacement. Everyday after this, I kept the antenna inside the car until I'd leave the building, upon return, I returned it to the cargo area of the car. However no other vandalism ocurred there. I loved the little place. It is just barely outside the main part of the city (as if you could tell where that is) in the Feuerbach community.
