by sniem
On June 22nd 2003 the 10th Stuttgart Smart Lauf will take place....and this year I want to try it too. So who will come to either run along or at least cheer?!
UPDATE!!
Yes I made it!!! After 2:22hrs I arrived at the Daimlerstadium, what a fantastic feeling!!
In 2004 (20.06) I'll surely run again hopefully a bit faster.
This year Stuttgart had a new participant record more than 16000 people started....we are second after the Berlin marathon now!! There will also be an inline halfmarathon, running and inline contest for the kids, a wheelchair halfmarathon and walking.

Stuttgart Wine Village
At the end of August wine connoisseurs and wine lovers from all over the world return to the beautiful state capital of Baden-Württemberg to sample the fruits of summer at the popular "Stuttgart Wine Village". More than 350 wines from Baden-Württemberg are sold in more than 120 lovingly decorated vine bowers on Marktplatz and Schillerplatz around the Altes Schloss. Typical regional specialities such as Maultaschen (meat and spinach stuffing in pasta pockets), Kässpätzle (Swabian cheese noodles), Schupfnudeln mit Kraut (potato noodles with cabbage), etc. are served with the wine. The most delightful and largest wine festival in Germany goes on for ten days and eleven nights in Stuttgart

Oberer Schlossgarten
by Bigs
In fact there are three gardens that belong to the Schlossgarten behind the new castle. The first one is called Oberer Schloßgarten and it's a great place to take a break in summer. Next to a huge green there is a fountain in a huge basin. You have a nice view on the castle and on the Stuttgarter Staatstheater, which is well known for concerts and theater of course.
Far away the TV tower is sending its signals from the hill...
The Stuttgart Zoo is called...
by Taitsu
The Stuttgart Zoo is called Wilhelma. They have a wide range of animals from all over the world - some of them I didn't know that existed!!!!!! They have also great garden areas and lots of oriental looking buildings, which to me really makes this zoo different from others.
