We stayed here for two nights while Hubby had a business meeting. It was not my first choice of hotels but since it was selected by the meeting planners, we had no choice. While the hotel was completely acceptable and clean, it just didn’t stand out in any way that would tempt me to return to it.
The hotel is located outside the city center; however, the train station is right next to the hotel which is convenient. While Hubby was at his meeting, I headed into downtown Stuttgart to see the sites. Across the street from the hotel is a rather nice little park that made for pleasant evening walks and up the road a bit is a shopping area where we were able to pick up some dinner and bakery items for breakfast.
One morning we were woken up early by the sound of a lawn mower - the workers were mowing the roof (!) below our room (see the photo). I'm not sure why they didn't do it later in the day when more people would be awake.
The room did not come with free breakfast (it was €25/person so we said no), but we found a nearby bakery for this. There is a bar area in the lobby which we had drinks at with some of our colleagues; the bartender was very friendly and efficient.
There is parking on-site either in the parking lot or the garage and the hotel was easy to find when driving to it.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay, just not spectacular. I probably won’t be coming back here, unless the meeting planners have another meeting using this hotel.
