The list of hotels in Stuttgart is endless just like in any other major town. There are many of them directly in the city, the best being Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin directly at the main station.
but i would rather recommend you to stay outside it for it may be lots cheaper.
Hotels outside town but with easy acces include: Dorint Hotel in Vaihingen; Waldhotel Degerloch ....
