Good location
In general, we liked this hotel. The room was ok, bathroom was tiny but it was ok with us because we just needed the hotel to sleep for a few hours after a long day of exploring the city and it was enough to take a hot shower. Our stay there started a bit on the wrong foot- we arrived with our reservation and were told that there is no such, I was very surprised and the receptionist to check again, I must say that she was friendly and tried to help but still said that there is no reservation with our name. As it turned out, the name of the hotel has changed and it's now "Hotel Aldea Novum Berlin" and because of that, the system of bookings has changed to. Finally, the receptionist did manage to locate our reservation and everything was fine from that point on.
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and paid a total of 150$ for 2 people with breakfast included. which was very good.
The location is also very good just a 5 min walk from the nearest U-bahn station (underground), there is also an S-bahn station just in front of the hotel but it's closed for renovations bit the next S-bahn station in also a 5 min walk.

good 3star hotel
I used Booking.com to book a double room at this Hotel for 39euros. It’s a 3 star hotel, at Buelowstrasse (7 stops from the ZOB(Bus Station) so it was perfect after our bus trio from Hamburg.
The room was big, very clean and simply but nicely decorated. There is a desk, a TV and a fridge in the room. The bathroom was kind of small but very clean too.
Breakfast is excluded (it costs 12e per person but we didn’t try it as there are plenty of restaurants/café around the hotel).
The location isn’t great but we felt safe and we liked the numerous restaurants at the back streets.
The staff at the reception are very polite and answered our questions of how to drive to the airport (it was funny that one of them was trying to remember the roads because he doesn’t drive the last 15 years!!)
There are public parking places outside but the hotel offers private place for 10euro per day.
The only disadvantage is that they charge 5e per 30 minutes or wireless internet access.

GREAT ROOM, GREAT BREAKFAST, REASONABLE
I would recommend this place seeing as it is a bautiful hotel fro a fir price in the Capitol of Germany! You would NOT get this quality for this price in NYC or London!
