It is located just in front of the railway station Zoologischer Garten. It allows you to book, to check-in and -out all around the clock.
room choices for backpackers:
- You sleep from 13 € per night in a dormitory, have access to warm showers and toilets on the floor.
- For a couple of euros more you can have private facilities.
- You can also book a "Backies Special" 42€ for 3 nights an a dormitory incl. Backies Brunch incl. linen
Add 7€ extra from March to October.
Not possible for Loveparade and New Years Eve.

I booked a bed in a dormitory online - 13 euro per night + 5 euro for breakfast. They charge 3 euro for linen unless you have your own (linen or a sleeping bag).
Checking in ok, no problems, staff spoke good English (I talked to about 4 different employees).
There are two bars - the bigger one opens in the evening - the noisy music is not disturbing the sleepers, they must have good walls :o)
Eating is forbidden in rooms as is taking away food from breakfast hall (breakfasts from 7-10 in serve-yourself style) - they offer lunch packages for 3,50 euro.
Check out until 12, luggage can be stored in a luggage room.
Hostel is well situated about 30m from train station so I had no problem to find it.
There are no keys in the hostel - instead magnetic cards are used, very modern indeed. No problems occured once I found out which side to put it in :o))
Hostel is surrounded by 4 fastfoods - German, American (Burger King), Turkish and Chinese. Sex shop next door :o) Theme: HostelPrice: less than US$20 » Currency ConverterDirections: Once in Zoo station (subway, train, bus), look for Burger King just across street. Hostel is above it.
