Hey everybody,
Since we're visiting Berlin this summer, I was wondering if there are any "all-you-can-eat"-restaurants in Berlin.

Yes there are, although few are 7/7 and those that are could be quite expensive. Some restaurants have all-you-can-eat specials at certain weekdays, e.g. all-you-can-eat pizza or pasta on a Wednesday or so. Further, the weekend brunches are usually quite good, plentiful and value for money. Many restaurants and cafes have an inexpensive all-you-can-eat brunch (usually from 10am-4pm) either on Sunday, Saturday or on both days. Since eating out is generally not too costly in Berlin I wouldn't really bother about all-you-can-eat restaurants. There are quite some restaurants/cafes that have lunch or dinner specials for little money, with meal deals usually around 4-8 Euros.
There is an excellent buffet in the shop KaDeWe, an enormous department store. Follow directions for the Restaurant in there, it is not fixed price, your plate will be weighed at the checkout and you pay for the amount you have but there is an excellent choice of soups, salads, cooked meals etc. If not actually dining out this place is great especially for somewhere to eat if you are shopping.
See the 'Hohlzann' and the sourounding church. Kaiser Wilhelms Gedenkniskirche This place is a amazing display of collors at night. It's also a beautifull monument of the war -- if such a monument can be beautifull. The old church was bombed to pieces during the allies bombardement of the city. Only the remainding ruins of tower of the church was left standing because the inhabitants wouldn't remove it. Instead the new church was buildt around it.
Berliners seem to enjoy graffiti and it is paramount. I found it to be in the most difficult to reach places. People try hard for this form of expression.
I was told this is due to the large number of anarchists in the city.
The residents of apartments will sometimes draw their own grafitti on their walls to avoid others doing that to them.
The main school of the Kwan Um School of Zen (a korean tradition buddhism) is situated in Berlin - Wedding.
The temple is a peaceful and friendly place to discover the wacky world of Zen! Sign up for a medition introduction course or learn about the wonderful stories of buddhism. An unforgetable experience for those who has always been fasinated by this tolerant religion.

In Europe, most prices include a value-added tax or VAT that is 16 percent in Germany (21% in Poland). This is like a sales tax, except that it's built into the price you pay instead of being added at the cash register.
If you are non-EU citizen you are entitled to a VAT (Value Added Tax) - Refund that is 16% in Germany.
Whenever you enter a shop with a Tax-Free sign (as on my picture) outside, and you spent over 25.00 €, ask for a special form. Stamp the form when you get through Customs. But be prepared to show your goods, which must still be in their original packing. The tax is refunded either at the border or sent to the address on the envelop containing the cheque. Buy more. VAT-Refund is worth considering for large purchases. Save up to 16% - a little less to be honest.
Yeah there in cool and beloved Berlin Kreuzberg ... there is simply a door which doesn't lead to a car body shop but to one of the best Berlin night clubs and bars. The Watergate ... pretty cool people listen pretty cool music and enjoy their pretty cool whiskeys, pretty late in the night while they're watching the city lights and the night go by through a huge window there in pretty cool Kreuzberg, where I once lived for a couple of years .... That's Berlin man ! .... Enjoy !!! Hey buddy it's Berlin .... be yourself !
