Which Airline has best connections and price from Athens to Berlin?

We need to find two round trip tickets from Athens to Berlin on 20th December. We are bringing my God daughter who is ill and needs to visit a specific doctor in Berlin. We are on a very tight budget. Could anyone help us find the best ticket for the best price? Or, suggest where I should look? thank you everyone.

www.skyscanner.net wil give you cheapest fares for your dates.
www.easyjet.com is the cheapest for return flight leaving Berlin Schoenfeld on 20th December.
You have left it rather late for the cheapest fares, I'm afraid.
Be aware of strict hold baggage limits (20kg for Easyjet) and strict check-in times for all budget carriers. A couple of minutes late and you will miss yur flight with no refund.

www.whichbudget.com lists all European budget carriers and their routes. You may find alternatives there, although I have found skyscanner to be very reliable.

the German portal www.fluege.de also has easyjet as the cheapest offer. Not exactly a bargain anymore, but still acceptable. You might wanna check out Ryanair through Ryanair's website.

oh really, I wonder why that is flying the sun-hungry northerners to the Mediterranean shores is a successful business model after all -- probably some illegal cheating around EU competition rules by the greek authorities trying to protect their domestic rustbucket services....

Thanks! This is really interesting and informative stuff! The reason we have left this so late is because we have a sick child who has just been advised by the Doctor in Berlin that he must see her. The other problem is that both parents work and also the child still has certain hospital appointments here in Greece. This will only be a very short trip. Once we find affordable tickets, then we must find a place where they can stay where they can cook the special meals needed!
I'll check out the airline links tomorrow. Now it's 1:25 and I think I need to go to bed:):)

I suppose you need to see a doc at the venerable Charité in Berlin Mitte?
If yes, the hospital should be a 20 minute ride from your apartment - less in case you pick The Circus. Public transport is close in any case.

Take a walk along Kurfurstendamm or Ku'damm as the Berliners call it with great affection.
Kudamn was built under Bismarck and became the main street of West Berlin after the war. Unfortunately not many of the grand buildings from Bismarck time are preserved...most were destroyed or badly damaged.
There are lots of shops along Ku'damm, and at the start you have all the big international lables...Gucci, LVs, Cartiers...and then come Steiff Bear...and then followed by a string of departmental stores, lots of cafes..lots of painted bears ..cinemas...and also lots of advertisement And her is the picture above Lindex is the most famous coffee house - reputed to be one of the largest iN europe....Cafe Kranzler.

We stay there in January 90.At the Brandenburg Gate there was one Way to go inside of the Former GDR,and on the other side of the gate you can go back to former West-Berlin!It was a real nice feeling at this time to go east!When I saw these pictures again,my memories works!!
go skating

Last trip (Feb 03) we took our skates and went to the Eisstadion Berlin Wilmersdorf. Great outdoor skating facility. An oval speed skating pad, with a rectangular hockey/figureskating pad in the middle (fenced off to separate it).
It was about -2C and sunny, so beautiful for outdoor skating - an exotic novelty for Brits, I'm afraid.
We took a taxi to get there, and S-bahn to get back. It was a bit farther than I expected to the station, and we got a bit colder than we would have liked on the walk, but of course the warm, comfortable train was wonderful and took us straight to the Zoo station right by our hotel.
Sorry - no pix! Your own skates if possible. You can hire, but hire skates are usually poor quality.
Warm clothing for when you finish.
Cash for hot drinks and food.
