    Beautiful and cozy

    by

Clean room with modern and nice furniture. Enough space for 2 people in a double room.
A big bath tub (unfortunately, which takes a ton of time to prepare for bathing) in a nice bath room.
I highly recommend this hotel to others. Friend-trip, Romance, Private trip, Family trip.

Unique Quality: The welcome drinks in the refridge are free. Coca-cola, lemonade, water, non-alchol beer and so on.
Everyday, the hotel put an apple on the bed side shelf with a card printed "an apple a day keeps the doctor away". I enjoyed it a lot! Wonderful service!

There is a cafe, also looks very mordern. Unfortunately we didn't visit there. But it looks very nice!

The hotel stuff are always friendly and well mannered. We had really pleasant stays.

Directions: Savignyplatz station on S-Bahn. I recommend to go by S-Bahn as it's convenient to access from other main sightseeing points or Berin Central station.

Go out to left from Savignyplatz station, turn left at the corner, go straight for 8-10 min.

    Contemporary accommodation

    by

Bleibtreu Hotel can be safely classified as a boutique hotel: small number of rooms, very tasty interiors, good service and nice location near the main shopping area Kurfürstendamm. Additional plus is the convenient bus connection to Tegel airport.

Our room was on the top floor with a view to the courtyard and the roofs of the neighbouring buildings. The room itself was of good size, not huge but roomy. The bed was nice with good fitted sheets and the bathroom had all required amenities. The minibar was completely free and stocked every day. There were not that much inside, but it was still a nice gesture from the hotel.

The overall design of the hotel is contemporary and executed well in the rooms and in the lobby -- the corridors were not in par with the rest of the hotel.

We missed air-conditioning, as there were a smallish heatware in Berlin and the room got a bit too warm, until we found a roof window in the restroom -- after opening it, the air could drift through the room and the warmth escaped to the skies.

Design hotel in Charlottenburg

by bcorbitt about Bleibtreu Hotel

This small hotel tucked away on a small street in Charlottenburg is part of the group of design/boutique hotels that seem to be sprouting up like mushrooms around the world. Unlike big chain hotel like Best Western, Ibis(part of the Accor Hotels), or Hilton these hotels go more for design touches and originality over large rooms, pools or minibars. This one is no exeption as our room was maybe half the size of the Hilton Hotel we stayed in Earlier in the week. The hotel's gimmick is that it is mostly blue with blue furniture in the bar/lobby and a bathroom done up in blue tiles. Sadly the design touches end there. If the rest of the hotel room was as good as the bathroom which was excellently designed with a sliding door so as not to hit the toilet and a large shower with three heads that did wonders to massage away tired muscles after walking throughout city. The blue tiles also made me want to do the same if I have the money to remodel a bathroom. The room itself was pretty generic Ikea like furniture with nothing special other than everything being small. Pity anyone with lots of clothes as the wadrobe/dresser had only one drawer and lessthan 10 hangers. There were a few shelves above the TV which if you are 6 feet tall you could use. The Breakfast was excellent. Not sure of the price as it was bundled with the room price but had an amazing selection of food including made to order eggs and bacon. They also serve it very late for those who stayed up way to late. The room also comes with a small frig that has a complementary soda, water, tonic, coke and orange drink. For those traveling during the week this would be a great hotel but on weekends the neighborhood is dead so have to go far to get to the lively clubs and bars unlike the Arena hotel in Amsterdam that has a lively club as part of its complex or the Standard in LA with it ultra cool bar. Thus in summary for fans of design hotels this hotel is average. For most though better off saving some money and staying in an Ibis. All blue tiled bathroom with 3 showerheads. Glassed doored elevator and unique artwork on corridor walls

Amerikanische food

by nomadig about Deli 31

Located in Bleibtreu Hotel, Deli 31 provides smaller portions and snacks for petite hunger. The theme of the menu is from the States, a selection of grilled sandwiches, salads and pastas served with fresh greens.

The food tastes good, and does not make you bloated -- the portions may be too small for big people with big hunger, but serve well as a light lunch or very late dinner. In case of greater demand, consider purchasing some side dishes, such as fries, or buying two portions.

Where can I stay??

by JaneyD

Hello...
I am spending 3 days in Berlin in late November and am struggling to come to any decisions about where to stay.
I don't want to stay in a Hostel or a box-room in a hotel, I wondered if anyone has experienced something a little different on the accommodation front?!
Something unusual, beautiful or quirky - something you've wanted to tell someone about!!
If so, please tell me?!
Thank you
Janey

Try the Bleibtreu Hotel - very quirky. Small rooms, admittedly, but different!! The breakfast gets mixed reviews but the design overall is great, and the rates should be good in November,

Hello!
Yesterday i came back from my Berlin-Trip! I stayed in a fantastic hotel called "Albergo-12 Apostel". It s beatiful and there are special things like a great breakfast (sundays it s brunch), the drinks in your room-bar are for free (coke, water with gas, apple juice) .
The stuff is friendly and the speak english.
The homepage is: http://www.12-apostel.de/albergo.htm
Sorry, the homepage is in German but you can call the phone number or write a mail!
Telefon 0049 30/86 88 9-0
Telefax 0049 30/86 88 9-103
E-Mail albergo@12-apostel.de

The rates (room for two person) are: 120Euro per night (weekday! )
and 80 Euro per night (weekend )
But if you ask there, you can handle the rates to 75Euro per night(weekday and weekend)! That s the price i paid.

If you have questions write me a mail.
Best wishes
Kim

Sorat Hotel Humboldt-Mühle (Straße: An Der Mühle) is very near the Tegeler See lake. I assure you there's lots of negative ions in the air and you will really feel good. (But now it's very windy near the water, so the weather is much colder now.) Nearest U-Bahn is Alt-Tegel U6. Nearby is Berliner Straße, where you can do lots of shopping, the prices can be quite cheap because this is the suburb area. Sorat Hotel's breakfast is very very good, I think it's worth about 12 € if I didn't remember wrongly.

I also remembered someone told me there's a cheaper hotel just beside the Tegeler See lake, but this is a bit far from the main road and U-Bahn. For the length of the walk, you will be walking thru' private residential area.
