Great breakfast near Nollendorfplatz?

by metropolis

Where can I have a GREAT breakfast on a Sunday near Nollendorfplatz? I'll be staying in Winterfeldtstrasse and I won't have any lunch that day, so it really needs to be a lavish breakfast.

Thanks in advance, guys!

what I found in my online research is that the restaurant " 12 Apostel" (I know it because I sometimes eat very good pizza there)serves brunch on sundays
here is the address:
Bleibtreustr. 49 (S-Bahnhof Savignyplatz)10623 Berlin Telefon 030/312 14 33
this is in the same district (Charlottenburg)as Nollendorfplatz
there are some others who claim to have bruch on sundays, but I don`t know them, so I can`t recommend

Travel Tips for Berlin

Get a Ticket or get a ticket!

by JourneyOf1

It's been mentioned before I'm sure, but its always a really good idea to go ahead and by a ticket for the public transportation system. Very conveniently located in most stations you'll find the auto-ticket machines where you can purchase one: single ticket (for 2 hours), day ticket (all that day and night until 3am), and multiple tickets, etc. You can get the reduced rate for under a certain age, if you can pull it off even if you are older.

I did it once when I was short on Euro, but thank God I didn't get caught! Also purchase one because you can get a very heavy fine for riding without, 200 Euros I believe. I noticed that during the weekdays especially the plain-clothes officer are out and checking. During the nighttime hours, honestly I didn't see anyone checking then, but better safe that sorry. I rode a few days without purchasing, but would have been crying like a crazywoman if I had got caught and had to pay before I could leave the country. Meeting some interesting characters on the U-Bahn.

St. Kamilius

by bugulma

When I went to Charlottenburg Schloss I went along Spandauer Damm and saw this church. I wasn't inside and just enjoyed its view. I think you agree the architecture is interesting, I haven't seen such before. The name of the church is St. Kamilius.

Lots of Nice Pools in Berlin

by eliowny

If you are looking for a nice way to relax, get some exercise, or just see lots of half naked (completely naked if you manage to visit a pool on FKK day) berliners, this is what you are looking for ... Swimsuit. Or not (see above note about FKK day)

Friedrichshain ---- this is...

Friedrichshain ---- this is where more of the wild and interesting stuff is going on nowadays. if you veer off of simon dach strasse you can find some really great bars and parties, as well as lots of thriving squats and skinny bald men in tight leather pants.

Home of Jazz and Blues

by Karin1S about Yorckschloesschen

A nice old Pub with live music every SAT, SUN and WEN.
You'll find a lot of local and international musicants playing N.O. Jazz, Swing, Blues, Jazz, Rythm'n and Blue . . .
This pub is a true melting pot. Everybody meets here - young and old, poor and rich - and no-one takes exception to anyone else.
Enjoy the "Fruehschoppen" at SUN at 2 pm with live music!

They serve breakfast from 9 am and lunch from 11 am to 1 am (1 hour after midnight!) Be yourself and feel free to choice your clothes . . .
