Hilton hotel of Berlin is perfectly located, the main entrance is from Mohrenstrasse but actually it is located almost at the Gendarmenmarkt. The hotel was recently refurbished and offers special prices for bookings in advance. In case you bokk the room 3 weeks in advance the price fro a room starts from euros 69.

Hilton - Central and Classic
The Hilton is well located by the Gendarmenmarkt, with a S Bahn access right outside. The concierge was very helpful, but there were a number of times that I had to wait. With a hotel that large, there should be an additional person at peak question time. The rooms are excellent, and the exercise room and pool were nice to pump a little iron and a relaxing swim. The large lounge and bar was comfortable and you could get a brew and listen to live piano. The price was reasonable for a major city hotel at 155 E, plus tax.

Very Nice Hotel Very Friendly staff
This hotel was perfect. The staff was very friendly and went out of there way to help.
It always felt like I was coming home at the end of the day.
Highly recommended and I will stay there again.
Unique Quality: The Trader Vic's Restaurant was excellent and we visited more than once.

Excellent Service
The Hilton Hotel is fairly new and has a quiet central location with all the main tourist sites within walking distance, and I was fortunate enough to have a room over looking Gendarmenmarkt with a large window. The standard rooms come with mini bar, room safe, direct dial telephone, internet connection and kettle with various drinks and the rooms are of a reasonable size. The well lit bathroom comes with a bath, shower and hairdryer, as well as the usual equipment. On arrival some cake and chocolates were provided and some fruit halfway during my stay. The pay for view movies were expensive, not recent and are available on dvd. I tried the large swimming pool a couple of times and was lucky one day to have it to myself for 20 minutes. The breakfast choice is vast and includes traditional fry up and with choice of types of cooked eggs. The best part was the fresh fruit salad. If you only eat a small amount for breakfast I would suggest eating somewhere else. As the cost of breakfast is 23 euros its only value for money if you pig out and its easy to spend a couple of hours trying the different foods. There is also a choice of different restaurants in the hotel or close by in the area. The Stadmitte underground station is conveniently just outside the front of the hotel for the U2 line though you have to walk about 400m for the U6 line. The hotel aways had plenty of friendly staff available though the restaurant for breakfast and the reception appeared busy at peak times.

The Hilton Berlin offers good service
I had a room on the sixt floor facing a very quit patio so you can sleep well even with open window.
The gym and pool access is included with the room rate but sauna is additional EUR 11 per person. There are separate saunas for male and female.
Breakfast is EUR 22 and offers excellent quality.
Unique Quality: Hilton offers an executive room at a higher rate (or free upgrade for GOLD members). All these executive rooms are on the sixt floor which offers free Lounge access. This executive lounge serves breakfast, snacks and all kinds of beverages including wine and beer.

Tough to find
Hotel is ok, nothing remarkable. Gym isn't too good - few treadmills, couple machines, and light dumbells.
The one negative that I experienced is that I took the train to Berline and then the metro...except the metro stops at like midnight or 1am...hotel didn't mention that to me and they also couldn't then tell me what bus I might want to get instead. Overall the customer service at the hotel wasn't anything to write home about.
Unique Quality: Hotel let me borrow an umbrella....which was a good thing as it poured the day I was there.

In "East Berlin" near Brandenburg and fabulous!
You can walk to Brandenburg Gate easily and the subway is right out the door. The breakfast buffet is incredible and the spa as well. The bathrooms are tiny but ask for a top floor room to see the views. Really classy, great piano bar in the lobby, Trader Vic's in the basement, safe streets all around.

great staff! Right next the the metro (or S-bahn) Can walk to the Berlin Dom from here in 5 mins. Very comfterble setting. Good breakfast =)

Great Hotel, Hotel Band Sucks
Very nice hotel, very comfortable rooms, some have balconies overlooking a beautiful church and square. Service was excellent and the staff was very nice -all capable of English.
Unique Quality: Balconies and views, Spa and pool facilities, close proximity to all major sites including: Humbolt University, Brandenburg Gate, Hugenaut Church, Former DDR Headquarters, Holocaust Memorial, Hitler's Bunker, Alexanderplatz, TV Tower, Checkpoint Charlie, The Berlin Wall.

Hotel in central location
Quiet and central location in the historical centre of Berlin, right at the famous “Gendarmenmarkt” with the French and German Cathedral.
The Hilton Hotel disposes of 589 rooms, an executive floor, business rooms and suites. Non-smoking rooms and rooms suitable for allergic and handicapped people available.
Besides 16 conference rooms with the latest technics and a conference- and business centre, they offer the following service to their guests:: Conciergeservice, Health Club & LivingWell Express, barber, 24h room service, safe deposit boxes, 2 bars and 5 restaurants.
Unique Quality: We liked most the view over the famous Gendarmenmarkt, were you can sit outside in restaurants and cafes in the evening. A subway station is nearby, so that you have good start for Berlin sightsseing.
