Hotel Berlin, Berlin, Germany - Reviews and Hotel Information

I picked this hotel since it offered a cheap rate (100 CAD per night). I had no idea if the location would be ideal or not as my booking was last minute. Luckily, the location turned out to be quite decent (except for the occasional hooker on Kurfurstenstrabe). It's within 20 mins walk to Postdamer Platz, and a 5 mins walk to the U-bahn stattion Nollendorfplatz.

I had arrived at the newly opened hauptbahnhof and took a cab to the hotel. It cost me 12 euros and took less then 10mins. I was glad to pay it and to check in to my room.

The hotel itself is relatively modern with spacious rooms (A/C of course!). The washrooms are decent and the shower was quite good. One thing that irritated me was that I put the "Do not disturb" sign on my door every day and yet
room service cleaned my room every time. Minor irritant.

There's in room TV with several channels in German, and a few in English. Late night TV in Germany appears to be
a wee-bit on the X-rated side of things, so if you have children, you may want to avoid TV watching after 10pm.

So anyways, yes, I'd stay here again and would recommend it to friends.
