Great, central location

It could certainly use some remodelling to bring the rooms into the current decade, but looks can be deceiving. Hotel Boerse has an excellent staff that goes out of its way to please its guests. The staff was very helpful with tips and information on how to find things in the area, and very knowledgeable about Berlin. Clean rooms, large windows, private bathrooms, TV, clock/radio, cabinets for luggage storage, a lift . . . pretty much everything you needed. Breakfast was excellent, although the dining room seemed small, so if you go during peak season you may have a small wait for a place to sit.

I would recommend it highly--our room didn't look the best in the world, but for price and location it was totally worth it.

Unique Quality: It is located on Kurfuerstendamm in Charlottenburg, which is a street that has some of everything for everyone. It is also about half a block from the Uhlandstrasse U-Bahn station. It is 3 blocks away from an internet cafe. Also close to the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedaechtnis-Kirche.

For anyone who can't live without an Americanized meal, it is next to a McDonald's.
