Hi!Our flight would land at Berlin Tegel Airport at 5:00PM,and from there we would have to get to the apartment we have rented at 6 Paulstrasse,10557,Berlin.How soon can we clear immigrations, and get our baggage to take a transport to the apartment. Is it possible to get a Public Transport to the address or we would have to take a taxi.I have read somewhere that a TXL Bus does go to Hauptbanhof, which,as I understand is not far from the apartment. Can somebody please help me in the matter.
All replies would be more than welcome.

The TXL regular bus has one stop before the Hauptbanhof called Kleiner Tiergarten.
This stop is about 15 minutes walk from your 6 Paulstrasse. Or you can change for a short bus ride on 245.

We walked like kings throughout illuminated Parks. Every Castle was lit in warm colors. Music came from all directions, short plays and performances were given. Children danced in the gardens. While the aromatic smell of food called on the passer-by.
The grand finale was given by Sopranistin Brenda Jackson from Jazz to Gospel, ending in a firework display.

This thin, glass and tall building stood at Potsdamer Platz next to the highest in Berlin Kollhoff Building.
Hmm... the skyscrapers around Potsdamer Platz were not that high - this was Europe not say the USA. The tallest European building is the Commerzbank Tower in Frankfurt, Germany with the height of "only" 259 m (850 ft) that ranks it outside the top 50 tallest scyscrapers.
Don't let the 1970's exterior fool you- you are entering Weimar era Berlin at the 'Rum Trader': one man's world of civilized cocktails, conversation and stiffened conviviality. The imperious major domo greets you, makes and serves you impeccable made cocktails (just tell him sweet or sour- no need to name the drink) and enforces the rule that gentlemen take their hats off in the presence of ladies! There is only one table so go early or be prepared to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the somewhat glitterati in this microscopic bar. Upscale. The most dressy bar I saw in Berlin.
