Hotel Kubrat An Der Spree: Nice calm hotel at the river, old city of Köpenick

This hotel is has a very nice location at the spree. It is 200m from the tram station Köpenick Rathaus, which connects to S-Bahn Adlershof and S-Bahn Köpenick every 10 minutes - you need about 30-40 minutes to drive to the city. I had a wonderful large room with sideboard, all new furniture and two large windows with sight over the Spree and a small island with small gardens - no street or traffic noise, instead you hear only birds and ducks. The house is built up new or renovated very perfectly clean, the walls are painted with nice colours and show nice pictures of Van Gogh style. In the neighbourhood there are several locations to rent boats or kajaks - it is not far to the lake "Großer Müggelsee". They unfotunately do not have Wireless/WiFi - there is an Internet bar at the Schlossplatz (but they did not even know it at the reception). So it was a bit difficult to come into Internet with my notebook. Prices are moderate.

Directions: Take S-Bahn to Adlershof and then Tram 60/61 (waiting at the S-Bahn-Station) and drive to "Freiheit Köpenick", or take S-Bahn to Köpenick and then one of the trams to "Rathaus Köpenick".
