HI EVERYBODY, I HOPE SOMEBODY CAN HELP ME, I NEED TO KNOW THE BEST WAY TO ET PRAGUE FROM BERLIN, PLANE OR TRAIN IF TRAIN WHICH ONE AND COST OF TICKET?. AND THEN FROM PRAGUE TO VIENNA PLEASE. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE AND KEEP TRAVELING!!!!

will give you train times and fares. Journey takes 4-5 hours.

Flying will be much more expensive, and will not take much less time if one takes check-in and transport to/from airports into account.

will give you the times of trains from Prague to Vienna.

If you have enough time (2-3 weeks) until your trip to Prague it could be worth ordering all tickets from the Czech Railways website. Sometimes the price for the same tickets to/from Germany can be half the price than when bought from Deutsche Bahn.
But you must wait for the ticket to be posted to you from the Czech Republic.

Travel Tips for Berlin

Unter den Linden

by bugulma

The street was built in 1527 and it joined the castle of Dukes and the Tiergarten, the Duke's garden. In 1647 Duke Friedrich Wilhelm ordered to plant linden along the street. This is a story why the street has its name, Unter den Linden (under the linden). In the middle of XVIII century there was great architect works on the street and many buildings we see now was built in those time. Since 1871 the street had a role of the main street where people spend their time. Hotels, shops, banks, restaurants appeared here. Nowadays the street could be considered the main street of the Berlin.

Ich bin ein Berliner

by sabsi

The famous sentence John F. Kennedy said in Berlin actually does mean 'I am a donut' all over Germany. But in Berlin a donut isn't called a Berliner, they are called 'Berliner Pfannkuchen' here!! In Hamburg Hamburgers are called Hamburger though ;) ...Oh the picture is taken from somewhere on the web of course!

Puppets...

I liked bumping into exhibitions in the middle of somewhere. I don't know if this was accidental or not & I'm still not sure! ;) Potsdamer Platz was filled with big posters with the craziest haircuts & then I saw these dolls...! Wherever you come, you can get surprised - nicely, of course! :)

Where To Get Your Unusual Souvenirs

by johngayton about Taubenstraße 35

Visitors to Berlin are invariably amused by the little green man on the pedestrian traffic signals, I certainly was. Here's a shop which stocks a variety of fun items depicting the traffic light men.

get your sunday afternoon & evening reggae

by miromi about Yaam

Much to many people's surprise, Berlin has a lively reggae and dancehall scene. Bands like Seeed do their own Hochdeutsch patois. & I am going to see Buju Bantu in a month! What more can you ask for?

Every Sunday in the summers Yaam holds its Sunday weeklies, and they are one of the nicest thing about the city. "Street soccer, basketball, footbag, graffiti, kidscorner, african & Caribbean food"... and more... that's what the flyer says, and that's what you get! Plus some of the most beautiful people in Berlin, some great dancing, socializing, and all of it on the Spree River.

I like the family feel and that everything is on Sunday Day and evening... drinking beer and hearing wonderful reggae while watching the sunset is one of my favorite memories sexy
