Our primary reason for choosing Hotel Inn Berlin was the availability of secure parking for a nominal fee (we drove from Denmark) in an area with excellent transport links close to the city centre. It proved a good choice.

We had an ensuite room which was spacious and exceeded our expectations.

From the outside the premises are not promising but we were recommended this place so had confidence and once the door was opened we relaxed!!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We had to amend our booking at fairly short notice and the staff were very helpful with this. We didn't spend much time in the Inn's communal areas - we were out there in Berlin - but it was colourful, clean and had a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was the only slightly disappointing aspect and although admittedly cheap could perhaps have been a little better. If you are in Berlin on a Sunday we strongly recommend foregoing the Inn's breakfast anyway and heading, as locals do, to Prenzlauer Berg (a neighbouring residential suburb) for a wonderful brunch!!!

It is in a typical big city residential area - not the smartest maybe (although apparently improving) but not at all threatening either. Within 10 minutes walk are u-bahns, s-bahns and the tram - public transport is excellent and if I were a woman travelling on my own I would not have minded walking between the Inn and public transport. There are several supermarkets nearby that are open until midnight except on Sundays.

We would definitely both return and recommend this place.

Unique Quality: Great location if you want to be close to the city centre but are arriving by car especially if arriving from the north/east as we did.

Directions: A typical big city residential suburb with a noticable Turkish/Middle Eastern presence. It's on a wide, tree-lined street and opposite a church. Although it is neither a typical tourist suburb or a high end residential suburb it is not at all threatening.
