InterCity Berlin

It's pretty convenient especially when you're making a quick stopover in Berlin. It's located just above the Ostbahnhof Railway Station. Rooms are pretty simple with all basic amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful.

However, it would be really better if they offered free internet with the room. You'll need to pay EUR14,50 per day for wifi access! Also, I find it rather odd that late check-outs are chargeable!

Unique Quality: It's really near to the train station.

If you don't have where to sleep, as we did-t had, ....
It was good... but I would have never choose because of the price (expensive) and ... where he it is (inside a big station)....
The hotel is good...

Ostbahnhof is a big station with lots of connections.

This Intercity Hotel is part of the Ostbahnhof station complex and therefore extremely convienient for both S-Bahn, U-Bahn and long distance trains, especially to/from Schoenefeld airport. The rooms are small and doubles will probably consist of two singles pushed together as ours were. See the photos for our room view, but don't expect too much. All the staff speak English to some extent and seemed happy to help with any problems. Luggage can be left here on your checkout and picked up later in the day for no charge. The prices of the restaurant seem a little high, but just outside the door in the station concourse are ten places to eat and all much cheaper with more choice. Although this place is next door to the train station we found we couldn't hear the train noises at night.

Unique Quality: On booking into this hotel you will be given a transport pass for the length of your stay which will cover all metro and bus lines and out to the airport as it covers Berlin A,B,C metro areas.

When I arrived at this hotel from tha airport by train, I was very surprised to realize that the hotel was exactly inside the train station! For this reason, it was very easy to visit the city, because I had the transportation waiting for me out of my door!!!
But don't be afraid: the rooms are very quite and isolated, so you can sleep well without being annoyed by the rail traffic! In general, a good quality hotel.

You are in the east side of Berlin, near Alexander Platz and not far from the typical Kreuzberg quartier.
Very useful the transportation card given by the staff at your arrival, that allows you to travel by every city public transportation completely free of charge during all your stay in Berlin!
