Fantastic & Cheap
Ok, fair enough, i stayed in a dorm sharing with 9 other people... but why complain when you're paying only €12 a night, including breakfast? I'm not to sure if that rate is valid all year round, but i was here in October, and that was the price. I think its about €19 a night in Season, but even that is very affordable.
I spent a week there, and the staff were amazingly helpful, the food was fantastic (if a little monotonous), and the facilities were more than adequate.
Unique Quality: First mention must be given to the reception staff, who's knowledge of Berlin was fantastic. They are available 24 hours a day too. The rooms are adequate, though they seem a bit cramped at first, and you have to share a shower and bathroom between 10 of you.
They have internet access, at €3 / hour, pool tables, table tennis, 2 communal rooms, and an in-house bar (with a smallish selection of local beer).
