Trendy young Hotel
Very Nice intimate hotel. Converted older building that has been renovated. Rooms are very modern and well designed. Some of the rooms have spacious balconies with comfortable seating.
Each Room has a mini kitchen as well, for those wanting to cater for themselves.
The reception is very friendly and helpful. Staff are young and do their jobs with humour and in a professional manner. The restaurant and attached bar are comfortable and the food is excellent and also good value. I stayed there twice recently and was very satisfied with the level of comfort and service.
It seems that the hotel is frequented by people from the Film and music industries. We were there on a Promotional tour for Sony Music
There is a really good hairdresser right next door and there is parking and chauffeur service available at the hotel.
I did not see them personally, but heard that they have some absolutely Super penthouse suites available too.

Looking for serviced apartment suggestions
Will be traveling to Berlin with a group of 5 friends for 8 days. We are looking for serviced apartments, preferably with 2bedroom suites. Does anyone here have any suggestions? I've looked at Lux11 but they don't seem to have 2bedroom suites.

If by serviced apartmnets you mean a cleaner comes in every day i can,t help, I have stayed in holiday flats in Germany but they are only cleaned when you leave. A website I use is fewo24 but can,t remember if there is an option for English.
There are Aparthotels in some cities in Germany, try googling that.

I just had a look at fewo24 and there are numerous possibilites in and around Berlin, but it is all in German. Google the website, then select Berlin.The areas in the city (Mitte) and surrounds are on the next page, Umland (surrounding area) looks good as somewhat cheaper and yet only a few km,s from the centre. The size of each accommodation is in square metres along the bottom of each listing. There are 3 bedroom houses available if you all wanted to stay in the 1 place.

Hi sorry for the confusion.
By service apartments, I meant a hotel that doesn't cost a fortune to stay for 8 nights.
I was looking at Lux11 or The Circus which seemed pretty reasonable. Average cost of about EUR 2000 for 5 people for 8 nights.
I'm looking for other options before we go ahead and book.
