Just for Sleeping

Popular with backpackers, this hostel is a strong budget option with beds from just €9 per night. Metropol is clean and well decorated in funky burnt oranges and has a friendly atmosphere. Although there is a small lift it can be a wait for it to arrive, and you may find yourself trekking up three large flights of stairs to get to the reception area. Dorm rooms are offered with en-suite and with shared bathrooms depending on price. Sheets and breakfast are provided at no extra cost. The hostel has a bar but this can be a little lack-lustre with most people opting to go out in the evenings. The staff are chatty however, so a relaxing evening can be spent getting to know them and finding out their top tips.
