Location, Design, Price
These three things are what make this hotel great! The location couldn't be more central - just 2min walks from the train station, the design of the hotel was really fresh and the price was very reasonable. The free wi-fi in the lobby and the very cheap beers and drinks in the bar were also a plus. Another amazing feature was the rain-shower,very refreshing!
On the con side, the room was smallish, with NO wardrobe. Just next to the hotel there were some junkies, no major disturbance, but still a bit annoying begging.
We didn't try the 8E breakfast, as just next to the hotel there is a big supermarket for self-catering and it also serves breakfast [cafe late - divine!] with just 4E.
I would definitely recommend it to all!

Nice clean and inexpensive
Motel One was suggested by friends who visited Berlin a month before my visiting. It is situated two bus stops from Checkpoint Charlie and in a walking distance to the most interesting sights of the town. The double room is rather small, however, it is usual standard for most of the German hotels. To me it looks more like a hostel accomodation.
Unique Quality: Well, cannot complain much because it cost me only 65,00 euros per night. The bathroom is small but clean, tv-set works good but isn't visible much if watching program laying in the bed. The area next to the hotel is inhabited by the imigrants and not many locals walk around after dark.
