I have booked this hotel by internet so it was less expensive then usually is. At my arrive they sayd they had some problems with the rooms, so they gave me a bigger room for the same price(lucky!). The room was really big, and the service inside is for a 4 stars hotel. The area around the hotel is not the best from a touristi point of view, but it's quiet and there were absolutely no problem also during the night. Close to the hotel there are some shops, a restaurant, doner kebab and Burger King. The hotel has a own restaurant but i didn't try it. The staff at the reception is very professional and friendly: all speaks a good english so it's easy to comunicate. You can also do "daily ticket" for move by U-bahn and S-bahn, directly at the reception. The S-bahn stop is about 100 meters and the U-bahn (Landsberger Allee) is less then 50. So even if it's not close to the city center in about 10 mins you arrive to Alexander Platz.
Unique Quality: I think it's a very good hotel for persons who don't want to stay into the Mitte area. So i think it's good for families or anyway if you are not so much interested to the night life of Berlin. The connection the Alex Platz take just 10 mins so it' very useful. I can say that i really liked the hotel and the staff..you can go in this hotel:-)

Park Plaza is a good hotel, not too expensive with breakfast included. It is a bit out of town but with the public transport the city center can be reached in about 10 minutes. The U bahn is just around the corner. When coming by car, a close by parking is available.
Unique Quality: Good bed and excellent breakfast. Rooms are comfortable, with all the necessary facilities.
Opinion of Price: about average

It is a really really nice hotel, very modern and clean. Very friendly staff within the hotel. The room was great and I felt very comfortable.
The hotel itself is a little bit "outside" of Berlin - so you need a car to get there without to many problems and time.

Take S9 from Schönefeld to Treptower Park and switch to S42 to Landsberger Allee. Fare is 2.20 EUR IIRC.
