restaurants with private dining rooms

by priyax

Hi!

I am going to stay in Berlin in We are going to stay at NH hotel Alexanderplatz in Landsberger Allee 26-32, D-10249 Berlin.

I need to book a restaurant with a private dining room to hold a meeting and dinner for about 20 to 25 people. Or any restaurant where there are not so many people to make communication impossible.

Is there any place with that service close to the NH Alexanderplatz hotel?

thanks a lot!

Hi there,

try the "Apricot" Restaurant. It´s located in Kopernikusstraße, near Station Warschauer Straße. Great German Cuisine. Just take the S-Bahn from Alexanderplatz. Takes about 10 min.

Check their website. www.apricot-catering.de

Best wishes from Berlin,
Stine

Travel Tips for Berlin

There was just something about...

by cynthi

There was just something about seeing that sign that made it so real... so amazing. The Checkpoint Charlie Museum was very good, but also very popular. We went about two hours before it closed, so we didn't have to wait in line, but we didn't get to see hardly anything! The East Side Gallery is also a must.

Bears

by barryg23

These bears are just everywhere! I think the bear is the mascot of Berlin - not sure where this originated from but you will see these bears all over the city. Each one is unique in its own way and they provide great picture opportunities.

Schloss Charlottenburg is a must see. This castle is just another example of how much the royal family of this region pampered themselves. I guess it's good to be the king! The park behind the castle (the Schlosspark) is also very beautiful! Take a stroll around the property. The Spree River runs right along the eastside of the property. I know it's in the West part of Berlin and if you look on a map, you should have no trouble finding it. It is to the west of the Tiergarten off of Spandauer Damm.

Good even for Window Shopping!

by tashka about Europa Center

Europa Center is not as pompous as KaDeWe, and you can just walk around the area, enjoy the fountain, see the famous Berlin Bears, follow the flow of time looking at the Clock of Floating Time with green water in it showing hours and minutes...

The place is less expensive than KaDeWe or Galeries Lafayette.

It's not only shops - there are cafes and restaurants to have some rest from shopping.

Schonefeld Airport-change to zone C

by alancollins

From the 1st of April Schonefeld Airport has been changed to zone C for public transport, so make sure you have the correct ticket.
If you are not very good with the ticket machines there is a shop in airport which sells tickets. As you exit the custom hall in terminal A, into the main concourse, turn left, the shop is newsagents which has a BVG sign outside. If you decide to catch the Airport Express into town, remember this is an ordinary service and not a special train. There is a real time notice board of the train services in the covered walkway on the route to the station.
