Hello friends,
I will be coming to cottbus in june for the first time. Please suggest me some things of interest to do in Cottbus, places, what I must see...?
And suggestions about cheap places to stay.

What do YOU consider "some thing of interest" ? Did you already search Google, or VT member pages? Do you know that Berlin - one of the most exciting European cities - is less than an hour by train from Cottbus, and Poland as well?

Cottbus has approx. 105,000 inhabitants and is located about 1.5 hours by train from downtown Berlin in the southeast of the german State of Brandenburg.
In the former GDR, Cottbus became one of the centres for energy production because of the rich lignite reserves in the area.
