Maritim Kurhaushotel

The Maritim Kurhotel is a very comfy and cosy accommodation. It's right beside Louisenstrasse the lively centre of Bad Homburg. Louisenstrasse is a large pedestrian zone, a large shopping area with boutiques, shops, high-class department stores, arcades, ice and coffee houses. Landgrave Friedrich II. named Louisenstrasse after his second wife, Louise Elisabeth von Kurland (she gave birth to 14 children). The Louisenstrasse was originally intended to house some of the Hugenottes who were being persecuted for their religious beliefs and who were granted asylum by Friedrich II. The Maritim Hotel is also the number one place for conferences if not relaxing in the delightful Taunus countryside. A local park is just seconds from the hotel.
Hotel's offers: indoor swimming pool with Jet-stream device, Finnish sauna, solarium, public underground parking garage (which is rather small), pets are allowed for EUR 10.- per day.
Food & Beverage are great. The hotel's restaurant offers a buffet breakfast every morning.
Also one can enjoy fantastic and expensive dinner in the cosy and classy Buergerstube Restaurant. Rooms of the Hotel are clean and nice, and are nice equipped with tub, shower, and bidet, hairdryer, radio, cable and pay TV, minibar, telephone. Maritim's staff are most friendly. Great service.

By car you might travel on highway A5 via Bad Homburger Kreuz turn onto A661 towards Bad Homburg. Exit for Bad Homburg city centre. Follow directions to Kurhaus/Kongress. Bad Homburg is yet great connected to Frankfurt by Subway as well. You might be taking
S-Bahn 5 towards Bad Homburg/Friedrichsdorf. Exit at Bad Homburg's main station. There are regular train connections to Frankfurt main station and the fairgrounds. Frankfurt's airport is about 10-15 miles away.
