Off the city center
Located in the suburbs of Frankfurt, not far from the airport, the architecture of the hotel is far from being original, again one big concrete tower.
The clerk at the reception gave me a very warm welcome! Somehow they confused me with a platinum member. The guy kept offering me free stuff, free gift, free smoothies, free cocktail at the bar. Thank you but can I please get to my room? ;-)
The room was huge but it was a bit dated and the furniture looked quite cheap.
Staying on a relatively high floor, the view was interesting, in one direction the Frankfurt skyline, in the other direction, horse stables and woods!
Other than that everything was ok, wireless Internet access was available, the bed was comfortable enough and the breakfast buffet was quite good.
The hotel is located in the middle of a business area, quite dead in the evening! There is a tram stop just in front of the intrance but it would take up to 1/2h to reach the city center. Thanks god, I came by car! In that case, a huge parking is managed by the hotel.
In summary, the hotel was ok for its price but next time, if not by car, I’d rather stay in the center.
