I try to stay in Marriott hotels as often as I can (only if they are conveniently located for my needs) and the Frankfurt Marriott was a great choice for me.
As an Elite member I receive excellent service and some perks which are always welcome. The check in service is quite fast and the front desk agents are quite efficient.
This particular hotel was just a few stops away from the city center on the S Bahn directly across the street from the Frankfurt fairgrounds and the Conference Centre. The hotel was nicely decorated.
My room was richly decorated with dark wood furnishings, a super comfy king size bed with excellent soft pillowy sheets, a nice size armoir with tv, safe, mini bar and of course a wonderful sized bathroom with a nice bathtub :)
I enjoyed my room very much and my stay was made all the better with a comfortable bed!!
Unique Quality: Some of their excellent amneties are the spacious guest rooms with views over Frankfurt, a work area/desk with broadband Internet, the "Marriott Revive bedding" with excellent down comforters, custom duvets and of course their exquisit linens, a TV, safe, fridge, trouser press (nice touch), hair dryer, bathrobe, flat iron, ironing board.

A great rate through Priceline was how I ended up at the Frankfurt Marriott. I had a good experience here, particularly in terms of service. My flight from the USA landed shortly after 7am at the International Airport, so after clearing customs and taking the train into town, I was at the hotel around 9am - and I was given a room immediately, without any difficulties or hassles. The rooms are comfortable, of a generous size, and are well-furnished with modern amenities.
The lobby of the hotel is somewhat dated - could use a thorough refurbishment. And I wasn't impressed with the coffee shop off the lobby, or the in-hotel bar. Another possible drawback is the location, which is certainly convenient for the Messe (across the street) but it's a little bit off the beaten path for Frankfurt's main cultural attractions.

Typical Marriotts room, only snag - there was no kettle. Otherwise bed was huge, lots of nice pillows and you just love lounging on the bed. There is CNN and all the tv, included is cables and modem for fastest internet service (complmentary). The best part if you have a pc, and you can serve anywhere in the hotel lobby wireless as well.
Buffet breakfast selection was average, but after 4 mornings - I was already bored. There is a nice cafe Espressivo, which serves very yummy Daily Special of Cappucino and Sandwich - the sandwich is a good size baguette, which stuffed with cheese and French Ham, and comes with pesto and tomato. It was very yummy for 4.50 euro...
Service is a delight there - we were given our rooms early check in - we arrived at their doorstep at 9am, and they got our rooms ready before 10 am....normal check in is 4pm in Europe!!!
Unique Quality: I just appreciated the great tram connection to the main station where you can be connected to anywhere else in Europe even!!! It is a breeze to get to the city and even to the airport!!!
Great location if you are going to the Messe for trade fair, it is one tram stop away but u can walk in 3 mins. Maritiim Hotel though just next to Messe. Adv of Marriott to Maritiim is the tram station stops right at door step -
Ludwig station, tram no 16 or 17 trakes you to Frankfurt main station - Hapbanhof

Perfect situated near the Mess and the Festhalle. First class hotel with everything you need, aswell for business as leasure travels...
Unique Quality: Staff is excellent, quality above all.
Sure not to forget is the Champions Bar on the ground floor. excellent food in American style, TV's all over the place...

The Frankfurt Marriott Hotel and Maritim Hotel.Two well located luxurious hotels.Especially good for the business traveller as the main exhibition grounds are right next door!

I have never slept that high, that close to the clouds than I did in this one night (as just a stop by on my travel from very southern Germany to northern Germany). The exclusiveness of any Marriott hotel says it all: everything is FANTASTIC, food, staff, location, AND the pay.. yikes.
Frankfurt Marriott is situated in the city centre, opposite the Messe Exhibition Centre.

I will be in Frankfurt in January and I am a big Florida Gator fan. As you probably know, they will be playing in the National Championship game on January 8, 2007 and I absolutely have to be able to watch this live. The game doesn't start until 2 a.m. (Frankfurt time) and I would like to know if there is anyway I can watch this game live and where exactly to watch it at?
American football popularity is slowly growing in Germany. Frankfurt has it´s own pro team, "the Galaxy," and the NFL Super Bowl has been shown live over the past few years. College football may be a stretch though. If you can´t receive American Forces Network TV where you´ll be staying, check out any of the Best Western´s in town. They generally carry American news channels, etc.

There are several internet possibilities. All without garantuees. But yu have to bring with your lap and an adapter. Checkout the hotel for internet access.
Checkout streamtvnow (without garantee) or soapcast stream. TVU is sending games by fox, espn, but mostly for SF - Bay.
Another solution might be the american bases or housing areas. But i dont have any knowledge and possibilites about that.
The chance to see college games in sport bars are really rare to none.
Staff is excellent, quality above all.
