Making driving licence in Germany

by dominick25

Hello.
If I would like to make a driving license in Germany - how much approximately would it cost?

RE: Making driving licence in Germany

by Weissdorn

This is a broad question, and it depends on where you plan to take your course, and how long you will need. A rough estimate: 1000-5000 Euro.

hi there,
agree with above, it is not that easy to tell how much it will cost. Depends on where You doing and how You doing. Bigger citys are more expensive than smaller.
You need to have:

These things are fix:

Medical check:
€ 29,-- (A, B, E zu B)

First Aid knowlegde:
€ 36,--

Test theorie:
€ 7,20

Test praxis:
€ 32,70 (A, B, E zu B)

Handling for test:
about € 100,00

License:
€ 55,--

These things depends on the driving school:
Basic charge: abolut 220,00 €
Books and so: about 45,00 €
one hour (45 min) driving, You will need about  20 - 25 hours for about 30 €
one hour (45 min) driving special things (highways etc.) ,You will need 12 for about  40 €

So You came on 1700 to 2000 €.

Start saving ;-)

I don't have the answer, but my son is stationed in Germany and it was cheaper for his new bride to fly home to California, get her license here, and return back to Germany.

Destination - Paris!

by mardulis

Hi,
I need some advise on how to get from Belgrade (or something nearby) to Paris. the airline tickets are terribly expensive, there must be some more buitiful and cheap way doing it....
thank you!

RE: Destination - Paris!

If you don't mind a 25 hours journey by bus : there is Eurolines
www.eurolines.com

RE: Destination - Paris!

by qaminari

Eurolines is probably the cheapest (92 EUR single, 130 return). The train takes just as long if not longer, but could be more comfortable, especially if you go overnight via Vienna (Dep. Beograd 08.30 arr. Vienna 18.45, Dep. Vienna 20.34, arr. Paris Est 10.27 the next day). Another route is via Munich and Köln. But Deutsche Bahn site will not give prices for international routes so you would have to ask in Belgrade.
These airlines fly to CDG, perhaps you could find a combination of cheap flight (bus/train) to somewhere else in Central Europe followed by cheap flight to Paris,
www.skyscanner.net/flights/airport/cdg/cheap-flights-to-paris_charles_de_gaulle.html
One possibility might be GermanWings from Stuttgart: http://www4.germanwings.com/

Take a bus/train to Budapest and fly from there to Paris Beauvais with Wizzair for less than 40 Euro one way, taxes included.

Cheapest way to travel from Manchester to Bergen-Norway?

by Lisbethus

Hi!

I guess my title says it all, but I need to find the cheapest way to travel from Newcastle to Bergen in Norway. I would prefer plane, but I am guessing boat is the cheapest way? I only need to know the one way price for now. Would be very happy if anyone could answer me:-)

From my experience boats/ferries are usually more expensive than budget flights. Have you looked at www. whichbudget.com for flights?

Re: Cheapest way to travel from Manchester to Bergen-Norway?

www.norwegian.no fly from Manchester, www.jet2.com fly from Newcastle. Book early for the best fares.

I too would be surprised if the ferry is cheaper than a budget flight, but I suppose it's possible.

http://www.dfds.co.uk/DSW/EN lists 3 crossings a week from Newcastle, taking 25 hours, cheapest cabin on 14/09 is 118GBP for one-way (and you must book a cabin).

Maybe Daarth can give you a ride in his sailboat! :o)

LOL Darby
I think the cheapest would be Jet2.com from Newcastle or Norwegian from Stanstead
There is also the ferry, DFDS from Newcastle that might have special offers now and then

Sorry leics, didn't see your post. But Norwegian don't have a direct flight from Manchester, only Stanstead

Re: Cheapest way to travel from Manchester to Bergen-Norway?

by leics

That's whichbudget.com being out-of-date then.......and you're right, they aren't flying from Manchester.
