Sunsets
If you are taking a tour of Frankfurt, and the weather is alright, try to catch a sunset either from one of the bridges across the river Main, or from the top of the Maintower. They can be quite nice.

i am flying to frankfurt on the 7th of march and arriving on the 8th,but havent seeked for accomodation yet.now i need to know of the cheapest accomodation there in frankfurt and wether the places still have open rooms available
I recommend to use the hotel reservation system www.hrs.com
I use them quite often and they usually give the best rates. But notice that some of the cheapest accommodations could be in the red light district east of the main train station.
Last year I spent a night in Hotel Apadana. This one is not fancy at all. But it is OK for a budget traveller. It's a few hundred meters south of the main train station.
Take a look at www.booking.com I use them regularly and they always seem to have very good prices, they are a unit of Priceline UK.
Cheapest accommodation will be in hostels.
Have a look at www.hostelworld.com and www.hostelbookers.com

till 11. January you could visit the exhibition "NACKT" (naked) in Staedelmuseum.
Nice exhibition with paintings of Picasso, Gaugin, Klimt, Kirchern ... just to name some of them.
It is opened daily except Mondays. Entrance fee was EUR8
The website is also available in Englisch
www.staedelmuseum.de I liked best one the drawings of Rodin (no19) and a painting of Vallotton (no57). On the entrance you get a small bocklet which gives a short description of all the pictures. That's why I remember the number of the paintings.
Check the temperatures before you visit!Always carry a jacket or windcheater-just in case.It rained quite a bit when we visited in June,so we were very glad to have carried our windcheaters! I've heard that German chemist shops do not sell anything without a Doctors prescription. So,carry all that you need from home!!
...however,i had a little cough when i was there, and asked(via sign language) for some medicine for my cough. After much signaling-they did give me a very effective German cough syrup!
Several U-Bahn or S-Bahn stops on several lines will drop you to the small river Nidda, which is moving from the North to the West of the city. The river ends near the council of Hoechst into the Main River. It is, in particular in summer, a very relaxing bicycle path, mostly on both sides. Enjoy!
I am sure you will discover relevant pubs, restaurants and/or coffee shops along the river or close by.
The “German Library“ -- now officially called the German National Library -- describes itself as “the national library and national bibliographic information centre for the Federal Republic of Germany,” similar to the Library of Congress in the United States. The Deutsche Bibliothek is responsible for collecting and indexing all German and German-language publications issued since 1913.
It was established in 1990, after the reunification of the former East and West Germany, through a merger of the Deutsche Bücherei Leipzig (founded in 1912) and the Deutsche Bibliothek Frankfurt am Main (founded in 1947). It is still located in both Leipzig and Frankfurt, and also includes the German Music Archive in Berlin.
According to German law, every commercial and non-commercial publisher in Germany is required to submit two deposit copies of each publication free of charge to this library.
It is a reference library, which means that publications are made available for use in the library reading rooms only. Users must be at least 18 years of age and present a valid passport or ID card. You can get an annual pass for 36.00 EUR, a monthly pass for 13.00 EUR or a day-pass valid until closing time the following day for 5.00 EUR.
And of course you have to be able to read German because everything is in that language.
