What a place! Great location (just don't mind the direct junkie/prostitute surroundings), right next to the railway station.
Breakfast is very good, wide selection, very good quality.
The rooms are so clean, you can't find any hair or whatsover. Was really impressed. Very modern design. Not too large, but just enough not to be too small.
VERY recommendable. 145Euros, incl. breakfast.
I am looking for laundry facilities that may be near the Steigenberger - Frankfurt City Hotel on Lange Str. Can anyone help me out here, Im running out of clothes!!
Ask at the hotel. Or in a cafe. I'm sure the natives are friendly and will be only too glad to help.
There aren't many public laundries in Germany. You could ask at the tourist information. Or ask someone near the university, maybe a student can take you to the laundry in one of the dorms. The guest house of the university in Beethovenstrasse 36 has two machines. You could go and ask someone if you could use them.
If nobody else knows of any public laundries in Frankfurt, you could go to a dry cleaner's place. They sometimes also do washing or at least know of places who do. However, then you wouldn't do the laundry yourself but they would do it. It takes a few days and of course is more expensive.
You probably already left Frankfurt, but there is a laundromat at Sandweg which is close to the hotel. If you walk up Sandweg it is on the left side of the street.
