Hans im Glueck: Nice little guesthouse on Fairy Tale Road

This was a nice little guesthouse in Hofgeismar, just outside of Kassel, on the Grimm Bros. Fairy Tale Road. The triple room was large and comfortable enough to house two adults, a 4 year old, and a 1 year old. The room and bathroom were clean and well maintained, and the hotel operated a Bier Garten and restaurant on site. (As is the case with many guesthouses in Germany.) The family and staff that run the hotel were friendly and very sweet to our kids. Dinner was good and plentiful--I had their house specialty which was a pork schnitzel with baked camembert, all covered in a blueberry sauce. I was surprisingly good. The breakfast that was included was simple but good.

The hotel is not far from the Tierpark Sababurg, which is a animal refuge that was established back in the 1500s.
