Good airport hotel
Had a one night stay at this hotel in November 2007 before an early morning flight the next day. For what the hotel is it is perfect. A new modern airport hotel with really nice contemporary rooms though not cutting edge, comfortable bed and no airport noise that I could hear. The rooms are really nice and have a nice feature in that the hallway has a door so that you can close it and the bathroom off for a bit of extra privacy if there are two people sharing. Another unusual touch was the wood effect floor on the bathroom which looked really nice and the bathtub which had a circular end which was much wider than the rest of the tub which was and gave a bot more room at the shower end. They have an indoor pool and sauna which was a nice touch even on a cold November day. I am sure they have airport transfers but as I had a car I didn’t use it or the restaurant.
The area the hotel is in is in an industrial part of a town called Kelsterbach and there is nothing within walking distance and even when you get into the centre of town there was only one place open for dinner on the Sunday night I was there, but there maybe more open on other nights, so if you don’t have a car I would suspect your are trapped at the hotel.
I guess one disappointing thing was that they charged for parking, given the location and that you either had to drive or use the hotel shuttle I would have thought overnight parking would have been free
