Hotel Kaiserhof: With the Charm of Bygone Days

This building was built in 1892 as the city residence of a wealthy Offenbach leather manufacturer. 20 years later it was remodelled as a hotel (1912).
Today the Kaiserhof Hotel has 48 rooms, and a staff that sees to your comfort.

Unique Quality: They have a nice restaurant here. Southern French decore, and a Mediterranean menu. The hotel is located near the County Courthouse and the Main Train Station.

Graf Hotel: Offenbach's Favorite Trade Fair Hotel

This is a favorite tip amongst the business people, because this is a family-run hotel, that pay attention to special requests, such as special orders and deliveries, and other accommodations that go hand and hand with trade fairs. That makes up for it's relative poor accessibility (in the middle of the downtown area).
But whether you're here as a business person or travelling around Germany, this is always a great tip.

Unique Quality: First of all, they have sound-proof windows, a must because it's located on the busiest street in Offenbach. Then it's right in the middle of the shopping area, near restaurants and has it's own bar, plus it's right across the street from the metro station. Theaters and night clubs are located right in the same area, as well as the Main river and the Isenburg castle.

Ibis Hotel Offenbach: Hotel Comfort at Pension Prices

This hotel is the place to go if you place price above other values like accessibility, staying downtown or in the romantic older part of town, closeness to events or nightlife, or having a room with a few. It's located in the business section of town, and you will have either a few to the Main river, to the A661 freeway, or the Offenbacher power plant / junk yard.

If you don't care about the view, or the fact that it's about a 1-½ mile walk to the next metro station (bus stop is in front of the hotel), or the fact that it's located in an industrial park, where there is hardly any nearby nightlife, then this is the place for you, because you can't beat the price. Comfort of a big hotel, at the price of a pension.

Unique Quality: The rooms are less expensive, than most hotels. 49 Euro per person on the weekends, 59 Euro during the week, and 109 Euro during events (trade fairs).

  • Opinion of Price: less expensive than average

Hotel Loewen: Still Looking for a Decent Hotel?

This is another secret tip for people looking for a hotel in Frankfurt, but can't find one, because they're all full. Hotel Loewen is also near the Leather Museum, which is in the same street as the Offenbacher Hof Hotel.

Unique Quality: They have a fitness room and a sauna.

Motel One: Yes, there is a cheap hotel near Frankfurt

(Whine, cry, sniff.) Frankfurt is so expensive! Doesn't anyone know a really cheap hotel in or near Frankfurt where I can stay for under 100 $ a night??

Aren't there any Motel 6's in Frankfurt?

Fortunately for you, there is one. That's right the Motel 6 Company opened up a chain of no-frills hotels in Europe. In Germany they are known as the Motel One Motels. Nice Clean, anti-septic little rooms for people not interested in rooms with a view, nearness to attractions, or extra-programs on their hotel television.

BE WARNED: that you will not find these rooms available during a trade fair or a convention. In fact you need to book well in advance, because according to Accor's press information, this hotel is 92% booked out during the year.
Rooms cost 37.00 Euro per night. They have 74 rooms which are designed for a maximum of 2 adults and 1 child each. There is hardly any room for your luggage, and the rooms remind you of 3rd class bookings on cruises.

Unique Quality: Better and safer than the youth hostel. Hotel is located in a commercial area, which means it is very quiet at night. It doesn't get any cheaper than this!
