Single ticket is EUR 3,60. No discounts for senior citizens

This ticket covers the regional trains or S-Bahn trains to Wiesbaden. Plus the trams and buses in Wiesbaden.

Travel Tips for Wiesbaden

There are two places I would...

by Speedbird177

There are two places I would take someone. The first being a Gasthaus called 'Die Pils Stube'. The second place would be the Bratwurst stand across the strausse from the Amilia Earhart hotel. There are many. I spent two years there at the Wiesbaden Air Base just outside Wiesbaden, in a little town called Erbenhiem.

Opelbad - The Pool on the Hill

by Weissdorn

Surrounded by vineyards and forests, the Opelbad is the best outdoor community pool in Wiesbaden. Dr. Wilhelm von Opel, founder of Opel motors donated this pool to the city in 1934, and built the one of the biggest pools in Hesse back then, on top of the Neroberg. Today the pool facility enjoys monument protection, because it was built in original Bauhaus Style. The pool is open in the summer months from May to September, and has a constant temperature of 24?C. The pool area has 14,500 square meters of park landscape to sun on, and a restaurant on the facility. They pool will be open daily from May 1st through September 30th 2006 and will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. The admission office closes at 7 p.m. A day card costs 7 Euro for adults; 4 Euro for students; and children 3 Euro for the day. Persons under 1 meter in height get in for free. The price includes free use of the Finnish sauna, which opens at 10 a.m. Free Aqua-Fitness program at 10 a.m. Happy hour starts at 5 p.m., where admission drops to 4 Euro for adults and 2.50 Euro for kids. Lounge chairs can be rented for 3 Euro/day, and lockers are available for 2 Euro/day.

Vintage car as advertising vehicle

by robertbaum

The MIKA cheese company is usig this old car to advertise their shop which is located in the Marktkeller (Market basement).

The car is a "Fleur de Lys" from England, so actually not an original vintage car but a reproduction.

The Shop's address:
MiKa-Käseprodukte GmbH
Marktplatz
65183 Wiesbaden

The company's HQ is at:
MiKa-Käseprodukte GmbH
Im Maisel 10
65232 Taunusstein

Don't "Comeback"

by shrimp56 about Comeback Ristorante

This is one of the several Italian restaurants on narrow Goldgasse. We tried it because my companion had tried all the others and thought "why not". Well don't make the same mistake. The food was pretty miserable. The salad was iceberg lettuce that was boring. The lasagne was a few noodles and a little meat swimming in an oily red sauce. I can't even remember what I had!

The town theatre has beautiful grounds

by TempNomad

There were a lot of people walking around and having a very relaxing time on the grounds of this theatre. The inside of the building is beautiful, so be sure to try and get in. There are benches and lots of trees. Bring a cold drink and a snack and relax after a long day of shopping (if that's your thing).

Later, you could always see a show!
