Weihnachtsmarkt Celle
Planning a trip to Weihnachtsmarkt Celle. Do you know any nice hotels

While I have been to Celle, I did not stay at a hotel. VT's partner-site tripadvisor ranks Fürstenhof 2nd and Caroline Mathilde 17th (out of 25 hotels).
If you can trust the comments, Fürstenhof is clearly the better hotel.

I arrived in Celle very tired once, after having slept in my car in Marburg the night before... I had paid my place in Marburg hostel but came back too late...door was locked!
So in Celle, I went to see the Fürstenhof (highest recommendation in my old Baedeker.) It was sensational and I almost decided to take a room. Not far from nice gardens I think.
But I finally preferred to have an excellent and relaxing lunch at Restaurant Schweine-Schulze on Neue Strasse. The chef came out to suggest his best of the day, he was pleased that I chose one of his specialty and I was served like royalty. Everything was delicious. A perfect experience in a beautiful old town.
I drove on to Lüneburg so never slept in Celle.
It's probably nice to have the Weihnachtsmarkt arrangement at your chosen hotel. But in Celle, it must be very cool to walk outside for Weihnacht, and then return to a beautiful, warm hotel. The Fürstenhof would be my first choice to end a great evening -- and I'm sure they decorate for Weihnachten. (You could enquire about that by phoning or emailing the hotel.

Furstenhof looks very nice. A bit too expensive, but....Normally we always stay at family hotels. This time we want some luxus and then you must pay for it
