It was a big trade fair for the industry. The fair ground can be reached by the subway (No.18 direction Messe/Nord) from the Central station or by DB trains getting off at Hannover Messe/Laatzen.

Hanover airport to Braunschweig
Can you give info on trains from Hanover airport to Braunschweig main station or buses if that is simpler?

On working days, each hour at XX:06 there's the S5 tram to Hannover main station (track 2). At Hannover main station, take the train to Braunschweig at track 10. Takes roughly an hour and costs 18 Euro.

Wangenheim Palais
Even though Hannover has been wastly destroyed during WWII some of the most lovely buildings have survived. Now they are renovated and show their whole glory.
Wangeheim Palais has been build in 1833 by famous Architect Laves. Its owner has been Wangeheim until 1851, when King George of Hannover bought the building, which is not far from the big palace near the Old Town of Hannover. Until 1913 is was used as "New Townhall". After being destroyed during WWII it was rebuilt and is used now as the Ministry of Economics for Lower Saxony.
Trainstation
Hannover's trainstation is one of the most modern and most beautiful trainstations in Europe. It is centrally located not far from Old Town and departementstores.
It has all facilities, that a main stations needs: shops, travel agency, car rental and more.
It is clean, full of light and colors.
In Sommer it is especially nice to sit in one of the coffee shops in front of the station and watch the people pass by.
Cocktail bar and afghanish restaurant
Masa and Loft are two connected locations in the city center. In the Masa you can sit at tables and as well in a part of the location on the floor on carpets and pillows. The Loft offers a good choice of cocktails quite well prepared. You can order in both locations from the same menu card. They offer a lot of specialities out of the afghanish kitchen.
HERRENHÄUSER GARDENS
The baroque garden ensemble, one of the greatest and most beautiful in Germany, was founded in 1666 by Duke J. and is one of most beautiful royal garden i ever seen.
Today, even without the palace, it is one of the city's most popular attractions, with its garden festivals, the baroque fireworks and theatre performances during the summer.If you are tired to walk too much in Hannover,come to these beautiful gardens to have a break!.
