Where to get environmental stickers for car

Dear All,

I am travelling with car from Netherlands to Hannover to see Herrenhausen Gardens in hannover. I read on garden website that garden is in environmental zone and I need yellow or green sticker on my car. I am not staying in germany and then how I can get such sticker for my car ?

As there are quite some of these low emission zones also in the Netherlands you just check the places where you can get it there.
A dutch rental car should come with such a sticker anyway.

Yes, check with the rental company first.

If the visit to Herrenhausen is the only purpose of your trip, and there is no sticker on your car, you better park at the outskirts of the city and take public transportation to the gardens/castle.

Christmas Market

I like the concept of this Christmas Market. I thought it's a really good way of bringing out the Christmas spirits in everyone as well as the atmosphere in the city, or should I say Hannover in general! The best bit is that I was told that its held every year, a few weeks before Christmas! Finally I get to meet my good 'ol friend, Holli for the first time after knowing him for more than 5 years! It was really great to meet up Holli, and thanks for bringing us around. We hope to see you again someday, perhaps in the Netherlands? ;-D

Inline skating around the Maschsee

The roundway around the Maschsee is a popular spot for all inline skaters here in Hannover. On hot summer weekend days it´´s crowded with people.... So I only can recommend it for week days and early mornings or late evening weekends... YOu have to watch out for all the bikers too, it´s usually a bike way....... Inliners...........

Saturday Latin Party

Saturday nights Latin parties.....so far...I´m not sure if there are still parties...but there is another one on saturdays in Kabukibar at the Aegi, later i will put one new tip. Other Salsa parties on tuesday in Zino (Otto-Brennerstr.) and thursdays in the PaloPalo.

Brasserie Bruxelles

This place is fairly new, and its the best food I've eaten in Hannover. German food is very plain with little flavor or spice and often ethnic restaurants will adjust their menus to accomodate the German palate. But Bruxelles serves Belgian cuisine (I can't judge the authenticity) and it is fantastic. Great service, very nice courtyard location with olive trees and sun-shades, and very reasonable prices. It's a tie between the grilled Zander (fish) with mixed mushrooms and lila (purple) potatoes, and the baked mussels with spinach. You'll have to make a separate trip if you want to finish the chocolate mousse.

The elephants house...

The elephants are housed an an impressive indian temple. You can sit in the center and enjoy a coffee 'out of india' and watch the elephants on the right , a colony of monkeys and deer on the left....

A few steps away are the tigers having a nap and you can go visit the souvenirchop.

You wont escape the german sausage..not even in India. :-)
