Caiprinha cocktail
by orlikins
The Caiprinha cocktail seems to be unique to Hannover,(well ok, maybe Brazil) for I have never ever seen it or tried it throughout my travels. :) And I've been to plenty of bars around Europe to suss this out! It's deceptively easy to drink, oh I really want one now ...
It's made from freshly squeezed lime juice, crushed ice and Cachaca rum and brown sugar and it tastes like a lime mimosa :)
JAZZ!!!!!!!!
by chancay about JAZZ-CLUB HANNOVER
Although I live already several years here it was the first time for me in the Hannover jazz-Club....and it was FANTASTIC. I had the big luck to see a great combo, the SEBASTIAN-SCHUNKE-QUINTETT. They played wonderful together and I was so surprised about those famous musicians playing here together in this little club. NENE VASQUEZ, percussions, won a Grammy!!!, played with Shakira, Celia Cruz and several more, EL INDIO, trumpet and sax, FELIPE CABRERA, bass, 2 times Grammy nominated, LUKMIL PEREZ HERRERA, drums and ANDERS NILSSON at the guitar. casual
Philharmonie
by nepalgoods
They serve quite good food. But I like this pub mainly because of the live-music they have about 3 times a week. The music ranges from Jazz to coffee-house-music. It is always very crowded with anice atmosphere. I normally don#t eat in Philharmonie, the beer is good.

NEUES RATHAUS- New Town Hall
by Hosell
This is the New Town hall of Hannover, visitors are quite astonished to hear that the magnificent building they are standing in front of is, actually, the "new" townhall. A very big part of the building and also almost all the whole city were destroyed during the second world war.
The new townhall is the residence of the mayor, the head of the municipal administration. Don't miss a visit inside the building, sometimes there are very interesting expositions and also you can see how the city and also the building was destroyed in the war.
