There are not so many hostels in town......well not many tourists are coming to Hannover really.... The Youth hostel is being renovated for the Expo 2000, so rooms should be ok, never slept there myself :)
You need a member card of an international hostelling company to stay here....
Unfortunately their web page is only in German ..... ;(((
Directions: Near the stadium and Maschsee
Obviously I never stayed here but the location is quite nice in the middle of Hannover's sport park in the green.
Directions: Take subway (tram) from central station No. 3 or 7, direction Wettbergen. Get off at station 'Fischerhof/Fachhochschule', 5 mt. walk from there (follow the signs)
