Hello all!!
I was wondering if there is a known indian community in Hannover. If not that, if there are any food stores or restaurants that have indian food?
Just out of curiosity...not that I do not like Germans or others...I myself am a very multicultural person!

Many people think, that Hannover is a very boring city with nothing special to say about. I thought so myselve, when I came to Hannover 25 years ago.
Today I know better. Hannover has a lot of festivals and a lot of interesting spots. This is, what I want to show you with my tips.
Hannover was - along with Cologne and Nuremberg - host of the Ice hockey world championships at the moment. The finals were held here on Sunday 13 May 2001 and Czech Republic won in an exciting match against Finland.
I watched USA playing Canada in the quarter finals. It was exciting and - even though I supported Canada and the US won - a lot of fun!!!
For the last 20 years or so this South American restaurant has been serving food and drink in Hannover. Jaime, the owner, mixes the best cocktails of the whole town - and they are not overpriced as in newer places. A lot of people are a little dressed up but it doesn't really matter.
Beer garden and restaurant on the edge of the Eienlriede. Large place with plenty of room and, mostly Greek orientated, food and decent beer to go with it.
Good place to visit on a warm afterneoon.
One of the most beautiful barock gardens in Europe....... and one of the highest fountains with 82 meters.........well only in summer. Last winter Sabs and I were having a phototour in winter wonderland.......so it´s also worth a visit in winter....
In summer you will find loads of flowers here......
