World War I German TankPanzerMuseum Munster
Less than 40 kilometers to the east of Uelzen you can visit one of the best Tank Museums in Europe.
From the First World War (they got the only example of the A7V Sturmpanzerwagen in the world, even if it is a copy made in the 90's using the original plans); a trip through the history of the German (World War I, Inter War Period, World War II, West and East Germany, and present) Panzer Arm.
Unlike in some other exhibitions, all the vehicles are in a great condition, painted just like they rolled out of the factories.
They got a fine exhibition of Panzertruppe uniforms, decorations, and a huge Steel Helmet collection.
A must for any military history freak, just like I am.
