I am interested in the ferry schedule from Wilhelmshaven across the Jade River. I will be traveling by bicycle in late August of this year, early September.
Hi,
have a look here:
http://reederei-warrings.de/cms/website.php?id=/de/index/fahrplan/pff.htm
It means the following:
There is a ferry between Wilhelmshaven and Eckwarderhörne
Translation help for the table:
an = arrival
ab = leaving
Fr = Friday
tägl = daily
Sonderfahrt = Special trips
Fahrpreise = prize
Fahrrad = bike
Hin- + Rück = two way ticket
Any further question, just ask...
Take care, Christian.

Oceanis is a museum with high-tech equipments. The motto of the museum is "100m below sea-level" and they could make the visitor believe it.
It's a quiet expensive museum, but it's worth to visit it. And if You are in then try everything.
The picture is from the official website of Oceanis.
During a grey winter day of February 2004 I took this picture in the harbor of Wilhelmshaven.
The light ship got turned upsite down during a hurricane over the German North Sea in 1999 .
Repair would have cost millions an during times of GPC navigation such repair was not undertaken anymore
... to the KW-Bridge.
KW = Kaiser Wilhelm (Imperor Wilhelm)Bridge.
This bridge connects the Jade seaway to the harbor of Wilhelmshaven and was built in 1905. The two arches can be turned when oceangoing vessels have to pass.
I was born in Wilhelmshaven in 1978 and I lived there for more than 20 years. Although most people may think that Wilhelmshaven is quite a small and boring city, I have to tell you it's worth going there. You won't find cultural offers or nightlife as you may find in bigger cities. But it's lovely, located at the seaside and offers lots of opportunities for your freetime.
Hi and welcome here at the Northern Part of Germany.
I will use this Page not just for Wilhelmshaven. My plan is to show a little bit about the North-Sea Area.
