Hello,
I will be visiting Bonn for a few days in early November and am trying to find a cheap hostel to stay in. The address I need to be close to is Bergstrasse 126.
Can someone suggest a hostel in the area?

Bonn is a village, not a city. Anywhere you stay will be close to where you want to go. There is (or certainly was) an International Youth Hostel in Bonn.
With 320.000 inhabitants Bonn is not that small.
There is only one hostel, however fairly close to the given address. 2-3 km if you walk through the forest. About 5 km on roads.

The youth hostel is on the Venusberg.
Berg = mountain. Actually only a hill, approx. 100 meters higher in altitude than Bonn downtown.
Bergstrasse = mountain street (leading towards Venusberg)
Bergstrasse 127 is at the closer end to the Venusberg. Bergstrasse does however not go up to the Venusberg. To steep from this side. There is a footpath from the end of the Bergstrasse street up to the Venusberg (to the university hospital which is also up there).

Whew! Yes, you´re right. It must have grown since I was last there. :)
This is a bastion along the Rhine which was formerly used as the electorate's toll collecting office for passing barges and later a defense post known as Drei-Königs-Bastion. Today it offers spectacular river views down towards the Siebengebirge and is popular with children who can watch life on the river for ages and sit on the Napoleonic cannons (there is also a big playground in the Hofgarten nearby so it is a great corner for kids).
Weinhaus Steinbach is a sure bet when it comes to sampling German Riesling Wines and enjoying the traditional Rhineland hospitality. Glasses are always filled to the top of the rim! Nice outside seating, inside could be more modern, but reminds of an old village inn. Alsace-Style Flammkuchen with bacon, onions and salmon
The restaurant is famous for its Bratkartoffeln (roast-fried potatoes)
Wine recommendation: try their open Rieslings from Bürklin-Wolf (about 4 EUR/glass)
The Star Gate was made from the remainings of Bonn's former medieval city fortification which was pulled down in 1898 in order to get more space for the cities growth. The Star Gate was erected in 1900 next to an old tower. The old city walls also had a Star Gate from the early 13th century that had more details.
For anyone who has lived in Germany for the past several decades, this House of the History of the Federal Republic of Germany brings back lots of personal memories. For instance this water truck, which was used by the police in the 1960s and 70s (and still is today, as far as I know) to disperse illegal demonstrations.
Second photo: No, this isn't the railway station, it's an exhibit (in the museum basement) of the salon car that was used by the first four West German chancellors Konrad Adenauer, Ludwig Erhard, Kurt Georg Kiesinger and Willy Brandt for their travels around Germany and Europe in the 1950s, 60s and 70s.
Third photo: Some original sections of the Berlin Wall are on display on the top floor of the museum, along with a video installation showing the events leading up to the breaching of the wall in 1989.
Fourth photo: The lobby and cafe in the House of the History of the Federal Republic of Germany.
From late November until 23rd December, Germany is flooded with Christmas markets.
We decided to visit the one in Bonn. We were glad we went during the week as it's less crowded than on weekends.
The market is mainly on Münsterplatz and the surrounding streets.
