Luxury & well worth it at the Sofitel Bonn!
Just come back from five days in this hotel and all I can say is: GO THERE!!! The spot is glorious & the hotel is just brilliant. The food is the best I've ever had, anywhere, in any country. Just remarkable. Right in the heart of a large forest with lovely views from the rooms at the rear and from the Brasserie (& restaurant if you've got money to spare!). The room was just beautiful, large balcony, immaculate with very high quality fixtures and fittings and the staff extremely helpful in a genuine way - not through gritted teeth like many places. We got an online deal and it was extremely reasonable - it's a five star and lives up to its billing.
Unique Quality: Great views from rooms at the back; Great views from terrace Brasserie & restaurant; The food is UNBELIEVABLE! You'll spend the rest of your life comparing every meal to the ones you had at this hotel! Very quiet location; In the forest; Has a spa thingy if you like that! If you want a dose of real luxury for a good price go there now!
It is great for business travelers but during our stay there were couples and singles with children of all ages who were obviously loving it!
