Still living in Bonn's past
Large hotel dating to the time when Bonn was the Capital, much of the hotel doesn't look to have been updated but it is still a relatively nice hotel (I practically lived there for a year or so) the rooms are a good size and always clean the upstairs bar although expensive is well run the downstairs bar hasn't been the same since the change in staff. Breakfast is average but not great as parts aren't as fresh as you would like. The hotel certainly has some grandure about the place. If you can you want a room on the left of the building when looked at from the outside (less noise from the trams) the rooms do get very hot in the summer and the air con is poor!
