As before we visited the tourist office, this time online before leaving home, di us proud again.
This hotel is just around the corner from the Dom and the hauptbahnhof (main station) a great position if time is short.
Unique Quality: Difficult to fault, clean and comfy with a good breakfast included in the price. Would go back.
Hello everyone.
My wife and I are planning a trip to Cologne in November to see the Christmas Markets.
This will be our first trip to Germany.
We have found a hotel on VT called Central Hotel am Dom in Koln.
Could you please tell us if this Hotel is ok? Is it in a good area? Is it close to where the Christmas Markets will be. (Don't intend to hire a car)
Any help would useful.

What is the Adress of that hotel??? If it is "An den Dominikanern", then the Hotel is located right in the heart of the city centre, in the neighbourhood of the Dom, the train station, teh main shopping street and the xmas market.
i can't say anything about the quality of that hotel, but I assume that it is not too bad.

Booked into the Hotel Domblick on Domstrase 28, flight also booked.
So we will be in Cologne on the 8th December.

In your touristy travels of course you will go to the Dom. Make sure to hit the Chocolate Museum and right now there is a Queen Tribute show that runs every week Tuesday thru Sunday...highly recommended for any child of the 70s or 80s!!!
